As part of our wider community programme, we collaborated with Open Age on a Postcard Project competition. Members were invited to design a postcard inspired by the architecture of Two Temple Place.

The project took place over four weekly sessions and encouraged participants to get creative with their artwork. The group began with a guided tour of the building to learn about its Tudor architecture and had the opportunity to sketch their initial ideas. In the following sessions, they experimented with various artistic mediums and explored techniques that were new to them. By the end of the project, each participant designed a postcard to be submitted for consideration.

Selected designs will be printed and sold in the Two Temple Place gift shop, launching during the Celebration of Makers in August. This project has been a wonderful opportunity to bring a group together to experience the history and beauty of the building, while also encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones and work toward a creative and rewarding goal. Being able to showcase their artwork and share it with the public is a touching reminder of their creative journey.
