Open Age provides opportunities for older people to take part in meaningful activities and to strengthen their sense of community. The organization works to enable anyone aged 50 or over to sustain their physical and mental wellbeing, maintain an active lifestyle, and develop new and stimulating interests. Their aim is to combat loneliness and isolation while improving the health and wellbeing of its members. It offers over 350 weekly activities across more than 60 sites in Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, and Hammersmith and Fulham.
Two Temple Place regularly hosts Open Age groups for guided tours of the building and various creative workshops. We are proud to have fostered an ongoing relationship over the past few years and to provide our building as a source of creative inspiration for their members.
In 2025, Open Age members took part in three different workshops and attended both exhibition and architectural tours. As part of this year’s collaboration, we also launched A Postcard Project, a four-week programme that included building tours, exploration of various artistic mediums, and time dedicated to creating original postcard designs. A selection of these designs has now been professionally printed and is available for purchase in the Two Temple Place gift shop.
