In August 2025, Two Temple Place partnered with DreamArts to deliver two creative programmes for their Carers Express Groups, which support young carers in Westminster.
A group of five young people (aged 12 – 18) took part in a two-day filmmaking intensive, working collaboratively to write, storyboard, and shoot a short film inspired by the stories and architecture of Two Temple Place. A second group of four younger participants (aged 8 – 12) explored stop-motion animation and performance to create an original fable.
Both groups returned to Two Temple Place on Tuesday 30 September, 6.30 – 8.30pm, to share their films and performances with friends and family.
“In discussion with both groups, they really enjoyed being in the space. They felt it was theirs. They enjoyed working with the team and are proud of what they created together. They felt the building was special. Everyone had a rise in their well-being number from the start of the day to the end of the day. We had nine participants in total who all enjoyed the project and expressed increased wellbeing from taking part at the end of each day. From a DreamArts perspective I loved the space and found everyone really accommodating and helpful.”
