Volunteering

We rely on a fantastic team of friendly and dedicated volunteers to make our exhibitions a success.

Our volunteers take on a vital public-facing role that includes supervising the exhibition spaces and answering visitors’ questions. We pride ourselves on the friendly reception that we offer our visitors, so if you can provide a warm welcome and would like to help visitors find their way around our magnificent building, then we’d love to hear from you! We look for volunteers who are, ideally, able to commit to at least one shift (three to four hours) per week during exhibition periods which run from January – April, but we are happy to discuss individual needs and therefore encourage applications from everyone. We also require volunteers throughout the year for a wide range of events, and this time commitment is more flexible. We provide all training needed for the role with no prior knowledge required.

We want to recruit new volunteers from communities who are currently under-represented in museums and galleries – contact fay@twotempleplace.org to talk about what we can offer.
