Wednesday Lates – Live Music: with Russell Lambert

We are delighted to welcome back Trinidadian percussionist Russell Lambert!

Russell Lambert hails from Trinidad and Tobago, with initial musical influences being Calypso and Latin America. He plays both drums and percussion in various styles from jazz rock and blues to world music and soul R&B. He explores and excels in the field of rhythmic improvisation and has toured regions of Europe – especially Span, Italy and Greece. Having discovered the Hand Pans (inspired by his Trinidadian steel pa roots), Russell plays rhythms and melodies in a meditative way that is often considered to be simply mesmerizing.

The Wednesday Late Music series has been curated by Camelle Hinds for Two Temple Place alongside our current exhibition, Lives Less Ordinary.

The evenings are set up as live background music while you explore the exhibition and the building.

Music from 6.30 – 8.30 (including breaks). The building closes at 9pm. A small bar will be available in our shop. The music evenings are free to attend and no booking required. To plan your visit please see the Visit Us page.
