Wednesday Late Workshop – Play with Clay: Mud Gang, Sustainability in Action

Image shows different samples of colouring substances for ceramic works. They are shown painted on small pieces of clay.

South East London community ceramics’ teaching team Mud Gang explore sustainability in ceramics past and present. In this interactive session, you’ll view the materials of ceramic production, discuss the impact of mining these materials, understand clay recycling – and play with clay yourself.

This event has been programmed as part of a series to accompany the exhibition Body Vessel Clay: Black Women, Ceramics & Contemporary Art. For more public events, please click here.
