Spring Rush Candle Dipping Workshop: with WAX Atelier

Join WAX Atelier’s evening workshop series at Two Temple Place, led by the creative team behind this innovative studio. Explore the versatile world of beeswax through candle-making, floral arrangements, and printmaking. These hands-on sessions offer anyone the chance to create unique, sustainable, and functional art pieces.

For centuries, candlelight has filled homes with warmth and light. Beeswax candles, known for their clean burn and natural scent, have long been a staple. Inspired by rush-lights—simple candles once used by poorer households in Britain—this workshop revives a traditional craft with a modern twist.

Guided by WAX Atelier artisans, you’ll dip a batch of rush candles using locally sourced London beeswax and natural spring green dyes. Enjoy a relaxing, hands-on session exploring traditional techniques and natural materials.

Take home your handmade candles to brighten your home or gift to loved ones.
