MEMBERS EXCLUSIVE: Tour Charles Dickens Museum
Join us for an introduction and brief tour of the Charles Dickens Museum, the home of the renowned author and his family from 1837 – 1839.
While living at 48 Doughty Street, Dickens wrote The Pickwick Papers, Nicholas Nickleby and Oliver Twist. The building has served as a museum dedicated to Charles Dickens since 1925, looking much as it would when the Dickens family lived there.
The Charles Dickens Museum holds a large collection related to Charles Dickens and hosts regular exhibitions. Members who come on this tour will then be able to explore the house and exhibitions in their own time.
Please arrive promptly for the tour to start at 2:00pm
