Family Workshop: Boat making
Artist Yinka Shonibare’s boat ‘The Wanderer’ – which features in our exhibition- has many stories to tell.
Using this piece of artwork as inspiration, learn to make your own boat and decorate it with different patterns.
As well as origami we will also have a slightly easier option for younger children so this workshop should be suitable for all ages.
The workshop will be running from 10am-12 midday. You can drop-in at any point during this time (but don’t leave it till the last minute), or attend for the entire workshop, depending on how much making you want to do!
When booking, please just book tickets for the number of children who will be attending the workshop. However please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
