Communication Through the Act of Making: A conversation with exhibiting artist Terence Wilde
Join exhibiting artist Terence Wilde alongside his gallerist and advocate for disabled and self-taught artists, Jennifer Gilbert, as they discuss creative resilience and making art to communicate with self and other vulnerable people. Drawing from his own mental health journey, and with three works exhibited across three different mediums, Wilde will discuss how creativity allows him to explore struggles, fears and dreams, whilst helping him to heal. This talk will also explore other focused themes from the exhibition, including the emotional impact of societal and peer pressure.
Doors will open at 6.30pm with the talk starting at 7pm. Please don’t arrive before 6.30pm. The talk will last roughly 1 hour including time for questions.
The exhibition, bar and shop will open before the tour, from 6.30pm.
