Receptions

The house lends itself perfectly for a drinks reception up to 350 guests. People can mingle along the upper gallery to discover the four Shakespearean friezes detailing the four plays: Anthony and Cleopatra, Macbeth, Othello and Henry VIII. A guide can be positioned here to point out these details to your guests and let the rich history of the house come to life.

With many original features, The Great Hall will be sure to wow your guests. With very few restrictions you could bring in some production to accentuate the gilded statuettes up in the 20 ft hammer beam ceiling. Using the built in leather seats placed underneath the two stained glass windows on either side of the Hall, people can take a moment to gaze upon either sunrise or sunset as the sun filters through the landscapes of lake Constance in Switzerland or Florence in Italy.

The Lower Gallery extends the length of building and faces the river Thames. Windows along the riverside flood the room with natural light and offer a welcome first impression of Two Temple Place.
